Job Overview:

A highly regarded law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney for its Denver office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters across various industries, both in federal and state courts. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and excellent interpersonal and writing skills. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation matters in federal and state courts in Colorado and other jurisdictions.
  • Manage case responsibilities, including taking depositions, briefing and arguing dispositive motions, and discovery motions.
  • Interface with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including motions and briefs.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable federal, state, and local rules of court.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet multiple deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of litigation experience in Colorado.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local court rules.
  • Experience with taking depositions, briefing and arguing motions, and general litigation procedures.
  • Highly motivated, diligent, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado.

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in client communication and negotiation.
