Associate Attorney Civil Litigation (Personal Injury & Property Damage)

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, focusing on personal injury, property damage, and related areas of law. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside senior attorneys on a diverse range of cases, including product liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Duties:

• Manage a variety of civil litigation cases from initiation through resolution, primarily in personal injury and property damage matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support in all stages of litigation.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories and document production.
• Prepare, file, and argue motions, pleadings, and other essential legal documents.
• Work closely with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to drive cases forward efficiently.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal team members to ensure case progress and satisfaction.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in personal injury, property damage, or related fields.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents.
• Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Experience in preparing for and representing clients at trials, depositions, and hearings.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal work.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with clients, opposing counsel, and experts.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Florida.
