This position involves managing a caseload of personal injury and other litigation matters from pre-suit to resolution, including trials. The role offers the opportunity to focus on litigation without the additional responsibility of marketing or firm management. Duties

• Represent clients in personal injury and other litigation cases from pre-suit through trial or settlement.
• Prepare for and conduct jury trials across Florida, handling approximately 35-40 active cases.
• Work collaboratively with paralegals and legal assistants to manage case files and trial preparation.
• Engage in motion practice, discovery, and depositions of facts and expert witnesses.
• Prioritize client communication and representation with professionalism.
• Participate in seminars and workshops to enhance trial and litigation skills.

Requirements

• Active membership in the Florida Bar, in good standing.
• Minimum of 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Proven trial experience, including serving as First Chair during trials.
• Proficiency in general litigation, motion practice, and discovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency is an advantage.
• Familiarity with SmartAdvocate® case management software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.
