A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Transactional Attorney to join its team in Vernon, Connecticut. This full-time position is ideal for an attorney with at least three years of experience in handling a wide range of transactional matters. The role will focus on contract review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, secured finance transactions, public finance, commercial real estate, and business formations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong drafting skills, and possess excellent interpersonal abilities to work with clients and colleagues effectively.

Duties:

  • Provide legal guidance on a variety of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations, and secured finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms align with client objectives and legal requirements.
  • Assist with the formation of business entities and provide counsel on corporate governance.
  • Advise clients on real estate transactions, including commercial real estate deals and leases.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on relevant changes in laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external partners to ensure smooth transaction processes.
  • Ensure all transactions are completed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience practicing transactional law.
  • Proven experience with contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and secured finance.
  • Familiarity with public finance, commercial real estate, and business formations.
  • Strong legal writing and drafting skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
