Job Overview:
A reputable law firm based in Paramus, NJ, is currently looking for an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury, professional liability, and insurance defense law. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a collaborative environment and a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance defense, personal injury, and professional liability matters
• Handle case preparation, including drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on complex insurance-related matters
• Manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, ensuring timely and efficient progression
• Negotiate settlements and handle trials when necessary
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and New York
• At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense, personal injury, or professional liability law
• Strong experience in motion practice and law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar certification in New Jersey and New York
