Job Overview

A law firm is seeking an ambitious and passionate Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its team in Dallas. This position is ideal for candidates with at least 1+ years of pre-suit personal injury experience, who are eager to develop professionally and make a meaningful impact in Personal Injury Law. The attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability, and wrongful death cases. The role requires strong negotiation skills, legal research, and client management capabilities.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and wrongful death cases.
• Work closely with clients to understand the extent of their injuries and represent their interests in court.
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to settle cases efficiently.
• Draft demand packages and motions, respond to motions, and perform legal research.
• Network with medical professionals and other experts to assist with case evaluations, report drafting, and deposition preparation.
• Participate in on-call rotation to take new client calls and assist in case intake.
• Provide guidance to clients on case developments and make legal recommendations based on case evaluations.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• At least 1 year of pre-suit personal injury experience.
• Proficient in drafting and responding to motions.
• Strong knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.
• Exceptional attention to detail and excellent legal writing and research skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Texas license to practice law (Required).
