Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patentability analyses and provide legal opinions on patent matters.
• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in various technology areas, including software, AI, IoT, and quantum technologies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their product designs and innovation processes.
• Draft and review patent applications, claims, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct prior art searches and analyze competitive technologies.
• Advise clients on patent strategy and IP portfolio management.
• Assist in patent litigation and due diligence matters as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in patent law and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in patent preparation and prosecution.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with software-related technologies, artificial intelligence, IoT, networking, or quantum technologies.
• Experience in product design and user interface patent matters.
