Duties

• Manage property insurance claims, including handling litigation, negotiation, and settlement
• Provide expert legal counsel to clients regarding their first-party property claims
• Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal teams to ensure timely case management and optimal client outcomes
• Stay current on laws and regulations affecting property insurance claims and provide advice on legal compliance

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property insurance claims or civil litigation
• Strong understanding of first-party property insurance law
• Ability to independently manage caseloads and work effectively with clients and legal teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Strong work ethic with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar
