Duties:

  • Handle diverse, high-stakes litigation cases including individual, multidistrict, mass tort, and class action lawsuits.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other necessary litigation documents.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy, trial preparation, and case progression.
  • Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials as an essential part of the litigation team.
  • Interact with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather case details and build strong legal arguments.
  • No billable hours or micromanagement – work autonomously to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience, particularly in product liability or mass torts.
  • Demonstrated experience across all litigation phases, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Strong court and deposition experience is highly preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to attend trials across North Carolina.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active NC State Bar membership is required.

Certifications:
