Duties:

  • Represent clients in court hearings and settlement negotiations.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development.
  • Prepare and draft various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and contracts.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal trends and changes in the law.
  • Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload, meeting deadlines effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic legal approaches to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Represent the firm at professional events and engage in legal associations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the Florida State Bar.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a preference for family law experience.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and research skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • High level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Florida state court rules and procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida (Florida State Bar membership required).
