The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience in civil litigation and demonstrate strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills. Duties

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage cases from inception through trial, including preparation and strategy development.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff on case strategies and litigation plans.
  • Maintain regular and professional communication with clients, providing case updates and managing expectations.
  • Perform additional duties to support the litigation team as required.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Strong analytical and case management capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Trial and courtroom experience is highly preferred.
