Duties

• Manage probate and trust litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Represent clients in trust and estate disputes, ensuring adherence to California Probate Code and procedural rules.
• Conduct legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to strategize case development.
• Provide exceptional legal counsel and communication throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain a consistent billable hour goal of 1,800 hours annually.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
• In-depth knowledge of California Probate Code and California Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Proven track record of handling complex probate and estate disputes.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.

Certifications
