Duties

  • Manage all aspects of foreclosure proceedings, including drafting and filing legal documents, handling foreclosure sales, and appearing in court hearings.
  • Represent clients in debt collection matters, negotiate settlements, and enforce creditors' rights.
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
  • Attend court proceedings and administrative hearings, gaining hands-on litigation experience.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and provide innovative legal solutions.
  • Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and ensure consistent client communication.
  • Stay up to date on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting creditors' rights and real estate law.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance legal expertise and courtroom advocacy skills.

Requirements

  • Admission to the Virginia, Maryland, and/or District of Columbia State Bar in good standing.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and court interactions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Education
