Duties

• Handle a wide range of civil litigation matters from initiation through trial
• Draft, review, and prepare comprehensive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, hearings, and trials
• Negotiate settlements and manage ongoing communication with clients throughout litigation
• Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis
• Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring timely and accurate work
• Collaborate with team members on complex litigation cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience
• Ability to handle cases independently from inception to resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent legal research and drafting abilities
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active California Bar License (Required)
