Location:

Duties:

• Defend clients in Workers' Compensation cases.
• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation defense matters, including case preparation and litigation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparation.
• Communicate with clients and insurance companies to handle claims effectively.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions, with opportunities for trial work.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Work closely with medical experts to understand complex medical issues relevant to cases.
• Participate in the firm’s mentorship program for continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing.
• 0-3 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related litigation.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desire to learn and grow in the field of Workers' Compensation law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Florida Bar License (Required).
