A law firm in Livingston, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time NY / NJ Attorney with expertise in various areas of law, including Labor and Employment, Real Estate, Business, Commercial/Collections, Bankruptcy, Debtor Protection, and Aviation Law. The role requires providing legal advice, conducting research, and negotiating on behalf of clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, along with the ability to handle both litigation and transactional legal matters across a diverse range of practice areas.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice to clients across various practice areas, including Labor and Employment, Real Estate, Business, and Commercial Law.
  • Handle litigation matters and manage transactional legal work.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide accurate legal opinions.
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients in various legal matters, including contracts, settlements, and disputes.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, motions, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff within the firm to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
