Location:

Duties:

  • Handle wage-and-hour actions, including individual, class, and collective actions.

  • Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

  • Provide legal advice and strategic counsel on various labor and employment matters.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.

  • Assist with business development initiatives and contribute to the firm's growth.

  • Participate in the firm’s succession plan and take on leadership roles.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in labor and employment law, specifically with wage-and-hour matters.

  • Ability to handle complex litigation and provide strategic counsel on employment issues.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.

  • Experience with business development and client relationship management.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment law, specifically wage-and-hour regulations.

  • Proven experience in handling class actions and collective actions.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to manage complex litigation and contribute to business development.
