Duties and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in labor and employment, including class and representative actions.
• Handle single-plaintiff cases with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes.
• Provide general employment advice and counsel to clients on various employment issues.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting motions and briefs, and prepare for and conduct depositions.
• Manage evidentiary hearings, status conferences, and argue dispositive motions.
• Participate in trial preparation and execution as needed.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and legal solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor and employment law and its implications for clients.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in general litigation and labor and employment law.
• Proven track record in handling class action, representative actions, and single-plaintiff cases.
• Experience with discovery processes, motion drafting, and deposition procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
