Job Overview: A law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dedicated Plaintiff Appellate Attorney to manage appellate cases, provide trial support, and collaborate with a team of legal professionals to advocate for clients’ interests. This role requires expertise in appellate advocacy, legal research, and persuasive writing, ensuring robust representation at both trial and appellate levels.

Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of appellate cases, including drafting briefs, motions, and oral arguments.
  • Offer on-site legal support to trial attorneys during active court cases.
  • Review and collaborate on substantive legal motions and post-judgment responses.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
  • Partner with trial attorneys to develop effective litigation and appellate strategies.
  • Write clear, convincing, and logical legal documents.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in appellate litigation, preferably for plaintiffs.
  • Proven skills in research, writing, and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and adhere to deadlines.
  • Strong oral advocacy experience, including arguing before appellate courts.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Dedication to ethical practices and client advocacy.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:
