A law firm in Denver, CO is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with federal and state court proceedings, arbitrations, and administrative hearings, along with a strong background in research, briefing, and arguing dispositive and discovery motions, written discovery, depositions, and client interactions. This role requires excellent writing skills, high energy, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines. Experience in healthcare litigation is a plus.

Duties

  • Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Argue dispositive and discovery motions in court.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Interface with clients to understand their needs and provide legal counsel.
  • Negotiate and communicate effectively with opposing counsel.
  • Manage multiple litigation cases simultaneously.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to develop and execute litigation strategies.
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong familiarity and experience with federal and state court proceedings, arbitrations, and administrative hearings.
  • Proven experience with research, briefing, and arguing dispositive and discovery motions.
  • Experience with written discovery and taking and defending depositions.
  • Ability to interface effectively with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Highly motivated, diligent, and energetic with excellent writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • High marks from a reputable law school.
  • Good standing with the Colorado State Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar.
