Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage complex litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Provide clients with strategic legal advice and guidance on litigation strategy and risk management.
  • Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals, providing mentorship and guidance on case strategy and legal research.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients and draft settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate effectively with other practice groups within the firm on multidisciplinary matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Tennessee with good standing.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and client development.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Tennessee.
