Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Tallahassee, FL, seeks a qualified Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in complex estate planning, asset protection, and trust and estate settlement, with expertise in tax return preparation. International estate planning experience is a plus, and an LL.M. in Taxation is required.

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel on complex estate planning and asset protection strategies.
  • Oversee trust and estate settlements, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
  • Prepare and review transfer tax returns and related legal documents.
  • Advise clients on strategies for wealth preservation, including international estate planning (if applicable).

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of estate planning, trust administration, and tax return preparation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • LL.M. in Taxation is required.
