Job Title: Hybrid Litigation Attorney
Location: Monrovia, CA (Hybrid, 2 days per week in-office)

Job Overview
A reputable law firm is looking for an experienced defense litigation attorney to join its dynamic Southern California-based litigation team. The role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in handling complex litigation matters from start to finish. This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for a balance between office and remote work, with a focus on providing creative legal solutions and solid trial experience.

Duties

• Manage and oversee defense litigation cases, handling them from inception through to resolution.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic insights on various cases, including product liability, toxic tort, and general liability matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, ensuring effective case management and client communication.
• Maintain organized case files and track the progress of litigation matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of defense litigation experience.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cases from start to finish, including litigation strategy and client management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record in legal writing and oral advocacy.
• Admission to practice law in California is required.
• Experience in product liability, toxic tort, or general liability is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.

Education

• J.D. (Juris Doctor) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
