A respected law firm based in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Trial Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive trial experience, particularly in nursing home litigation, and be committed to delivering high-quality legal services. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex cases within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties:

  • Litigate nursing home abuse and neglect cases through to verdict.
  • Manage and represent clients in other related legal matters as needed.
  • Conduct client interviews to evaluate potential new cases.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Review and analyze case materials, including medical records and expert reports.
  • Handle depositions, motions, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of trial experience in nursing home litigation.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, with the ability to waive into Maryland.
  • Proven ability to handle cases from inception through trial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Pennsylvania (additional Maryland Bar membership is preferred).
