Duties:

  • Handle a variety of commercial litigation cases, focusing on creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, insurance coverage, employment defense, and intellectual property matters.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients in litigation matters.
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop case strategies.
  • Maintain and manage case files, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed on case developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial or corporate law.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft persuasive legal documents.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Experience in managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in one of the following states: New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania.
