As an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney, you will manage your caseload, interact with clients, and contribute to various immigration cases under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Duties:

• Advise clients on immigration-related matters and provide strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals, including detained and non-detained cases.
• Handle and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
• Conduct client intake sessions with detained individuals at detention centers.
• Prepare and file a variety of immigration applications, such as removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Review and revise immigration applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, governmental agencies, and community organizations to stay current on changes in immigration law.
• Meet with prospective clients for consultations and assess potential immigration strategies.
• Develop legal strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court or USCIS proceedings.
• Draft and submit legal briefs in support of various immigration cases.

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Strong ability to handle a caseload independently while working collaboratively with colleagues.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage legal cases and move them forward efficiently.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Relief, EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review), detained cases, citizenship applications, and other USCIS processes.
• Familiarity with Case Management Software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada or ability to obtain admission.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Nevada or eligibility to practice in the state.
