Duties

• Manage the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to resolution, overseeing all aspects of discovery and litigation.
• Collaborate closely with insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators to build strong defense strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case management.
• Develop and maintain a full caseload of workers' compensation cases of varying complexity.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and strategic advice throughout the case process.
• Participate in negotiations and facilitate settlements when appropriate.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in workers' compensation law is preferred; however, recent law school graduates with a keen interest in this area are welcome to apply.
• Strong commitment to proactive case management and client service.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Superior research, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
