Job Overview:

The Mid-level Private Equity Associate Attorney will work closely with a variety of national and international clients, handling corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations involving Private Equity portfolio companies. Duties:

• Collaborate with experienced lawyers across the firm's global platform
• Handle corporate aspects of acquisitions, dispositions, and day-to-day operations involving Private Equity portfolio companies
• Provide high-quality client service through diligent research and effective communication
• Assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact under mentorship

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of private equity experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to providing the highest quality client service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the South Carolina Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Proficiency in corporate law and private equity transactions
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities
