Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a skilled and experienced mid-level Litigation Attorney to join its team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing candidates from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey regions to apply. The successful candidate will manage a variety of general liability matters across both states, providing strategic legal counsel, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court as needed.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Draft pleadings, legal documents, and dispositive motions.
• Handle written discovery, including responses and objections.
• Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
• Provide legal analysis and strategy to guide case development.
• Appear in court for hearings and motions as necessary.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for defense work in liability claims.
• Proven ability to handle all aspects of litigation, including depositions, pleadings, and motions.
• Experience in premises liability, general liability, automobile, and insurance defense.
• Strong legal research, writing, organization, and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of litigation procedures and legal best practices.
