Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Privacy Litigation Associate Attorney to join its national Privacy Litigation team. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing practice with a focus on complex privacy issues. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience, including case management and trial preparation, and will be prepared to handle various aspects of privacy law and litigation.

Duties:

• Manage and execute all phases of case preparation, including trial preparation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft key litigation documents such as briefs, complaints, motions, memoranda, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in privacy-related litigation, providing expert counsel and strategic advice.
• Engage with federal, state, and international privacy regulations, ensuring thorough understanding and application of case strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, contributing to the growth and development of the practice.
• Navigate complex legal subject matters efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on privacy law preferred.
• Strong experience in case management, legal research, and writing.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
• Demonstrated success in a team-oriented environment and ambition to support and expand a national practice.
• Active and relevant Illinois Bar admission is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Illinois State Bar membership is required.

Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting litigation documents.
