Job Overview
A prominent law firm is seeking a Mid-level Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will possess three to five years of litigation experience across a range of employment issues, including wage and hour class actions and single plaintiff discrimination matters. This role also involves drafting and reviewing employment-related documents and working on labor and employment aspects of business transactions.

Duties

  • Manage litigation on various employment law issues, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination/harassment cases
  • Draft and review employment policies, offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements
  • Collaborate on labor and employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions
  • Engage in traditional labor relations (experience preferred but not required)
  • Work closely with experienced attorneys for mentoring and professional development

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of litigation experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California Bar or ability to obtain
