Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Tax Executive Compensation, Employment, And Benefits Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate with a strong understanding of tax, securities, and relevant laws will possess extensive expertise in executive compensation, employee benefits, company representation, and transactional matters.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on matters of executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Assist in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing executive compensation agreements, equity incentive plans, and other related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on tax implications, securities regulations, and other relevant laws affecting executive compensation and benefits.
  • Advise clients on compliance with regulatory requirements, including SEC disclosures and IRS rules.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and executive compensation and benefits litigation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
  • Proficiency in company representation and compensation disclosure issues.
  • Comprehensive understanding of transactional executive compensation and benefits matters.
  • Strong knowledge of tax, securities, and other relevant executive compensation laws.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).

Certifications:

  • Certification in Tax Law (preferred).

  • Legal research and analysis.
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Negotiation and mediation.
  • Compliance and regulatory expertise.
  • Litigation and advocacy skills.
