A law firm is seeking a highly motivated Blockchain Crypto Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of relevant experience in private offerings, general venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen interest and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses, possess excellent academic credentials and have superior communication skills. This position is located in Chicago, IL.

Job Description:

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support on blockchain and cryptocurrency-related matters.
  • Handle private offerings and venture capital transactions for tech companies.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate transaction documents.
  • Conduct legal research on blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop compliant blockchain strategies.
  • Stay updated on emerging legal issues in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and regulatory matters.
  • Work closely with other attorneys and legal staff on various corporate law matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a major law firm.
  • Experience in private offerings, venture capital, and corporate transactions.
  • Demonstrated interest and passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
  • Highly motivated with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Membership to the State Bar of Illinois.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Illinois.
