Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A Valley Forge, PA law firm is seeking a dedicated Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for legal analysis, drafting, and representing clients in insurance coverage matters, emphasizing thorough research, client advocacy, and courtroom presence.

Job Duties:

• Conduct detailed file reviews and legal analyses of insurance claims and causes of action.
• Perform extensive legal research and draft substantive briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Maintain an annual billable requirement of 1950 hours.
• Represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions regularly.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests effectively.
• Collaborate with and retain expert witnesses as needed.
• Prepare thoroughly for trials and attend them as required.
• Some travel may be necessary for client meetings or court appearances.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance coverage law preferred.
• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Admission to practice in Pennsylvania and other states is a plus.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong research abilities and proficiency in written and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prompt responsiveness to client inquiries via email and phone.
• Excellent client management skills and professional telephone demeanor.
