A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated Novice to Intermediate Litigation Attorney to join its team in Wexford, PA. The firm specializes in representing businesses, individuals, and Homeowner’s Associations in a range of disputes related to real estate, construction, estate planning and probate, and business matters. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 0-5 years of experience looking to gain hands-on exposure to litigation, including court appearances, depositions, trials, briefs, motions, discovery, and drafting. Duties:

  • Take primary responsibility for cases, managing all aspects of litigation from start to finish.
  • Provide support to senior attorneys and assist in preparing legal documents including briefs, motions, and discovery.
  • Appear in court for hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide legal counsel.
  • Conduct legal research, draft and review contracts, and prepare legal filings.
  • Manage case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and other legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members and senior partners on complex matters.
  • Develop professional skills through direct mentoring by partners and senior associates.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
  • 0-5 years of experience in litigation.
  • Experience with hourly billing practices is ideal.
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated to career growth and development.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
