Litigation Practice Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Practice Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-6 years of experience, specifically in financial services litigation. The candidate will manage all stages of litigation, from discovery to trial, and will be responsible for drafting and arguing key motions and appeals. While experience in bankruptcy and class action litigation is a plus, it is not required. Duties:

• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, and appeals, with a primary focus on financial services matters.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions and motions for injunctive relief.
• Represent clients in court and provide expert guidance on litigation strategy.
• Manage complex legal cases from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff, providing legal support and insights as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term connections.
• Stay current on legal developments, particularly in financial services, bankruptcy, and class action law.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on financial services litigation.
• Substantial experience in drafting and arguing motions, including substantive discovery and dispositive motions.
• Bankruptcy and class action litigation experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong drive for results.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice in New Jersey and New York or New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Admission to practice in all three jurisdictions (New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania) is a plus.
