A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Data Privacy Associate Attorney with 4+ years of consumer and employee privacy experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial legal advice and counsel experience in managing data privacy compliance projects, drafting privacy policies and notices, advising on data protection agreements, and handling data breach incidents and regulatory enforcement actions.

 

Duties:

  • Manage data privacy compliance projects for clients.
  • Draft privacy policies, notices, and data protection agreements.
  • Advise on technical website/app and digital marketing issues related to data privacy.
  • Conduct data mapping exercises and advise on consumer consent workflows.
  • Assist clients in conducting data protection impact assessments.
  • Respond to data subject requests and manage data breach incidents.
  • Handle consumer privacy litigation and regulatory enforcement actions.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • 4+ years of consumer and employee privacy experience.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania.
  • Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) designation preferred.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of consumer and employee privacy laws and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent academic credentials, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in data breach incident response and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data protection impact assessments and data subject requests.
