Senior Family Law Attorney

A law firm seeks a Senior Family Law Attorney to join its Baltimore office, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in family law. Duties

• Oversee a variety of family law matters, including:
  • Marital property disputes
  • Custody and visitation issues
  • Divorce and separation proceedings
  • Mediation and arbitration
  • Spousal and child support arrangements
• Engage in significant client interaction, providing legal advice and support throughout the legal process.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including motions and agreements.
• Conduct negotiations and represent clients in court hearings.
• Collaborate with other attorneys on cases involving commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution as needed.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in family law.
• Experience in commercial litigation is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on client service.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the state of Maryland.
