Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support for CMBS (Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities) and balance sheet financing transactions.
  • Manage the servicing and asset management aspects of CMBS/balance sheet loans.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate finance documents.
  • Collaborate with clients, lenders, and internal teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Assist in addressing issues related to loan restructuring, modifications, and workouts.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, with a focus on CMBS lending and servicing.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents related to commercial real estate finance.
  • Strong analytical and research abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California (or ability to gain admission).

Certifications:
