Job Overview: A law firm in Portland, OR, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will manage their caseload and work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Job Duties:

  • Execute case strategy with senior-level attorneys, senior paralegals, clients, and support staff.
  • Manage a personal caseload, keeping clients informed and updated on case progress and strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents about family law matters, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Provide support on complex cases to senior attorneys.
  • Perform administrative and management tasks related to legal practice.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience practicing Family Law in Oregon.
  • Demonstrated expertise in asset division, custody, spousal, and child support, with trial and mediation experience preferred.
  • Active membership in the Oregon State Bar; Washington State Bar membership is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional client service and build strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical ability, research skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and handle a heavy caseload.
