Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal advice to healthcare clients and assist with various corporate matters while collaborating with a team of experienced professionals.

Location:

Duties:

  • Advise healthcare clients on strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, and asset and equity acquisitions
  • Assist clients with corporate and organizational matters such as formations, capital raises, operational strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to deliver legal guidance and ensure the successful execution of complex transactions
  • Provide clients with day-to-day corporate support, including regulatory compliance and strategic business operations
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, while also managing third-party advisors and external stakeholders
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, including regular career progression and training sessions

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate healthcare transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures
  • Must be admitted to the bar in the state of employment
  • Strong oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, work independently, and collaborate with team members
  • Experience in healthcare law and corporate transactions, with a solid understanding of industry regulations

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the bar in the state of employment

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research, drafting, and analytical abilities
  • Ability to build and manage client relationships
