A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Health Care Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of regulatory and/or transactional experience in the health care industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong document drafting skills, project management capabilities, and a commitment to mentoring junior associates. This role involves interacting directly with senior partners and clients, providing expertise in federal and state health care regulations, and handling complex health care transactions.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support on health care regulatory and transactional matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of documents including contracts, agreements, and regulatory filings.
  • Analyze federal and state health care laws and regulations affecting health care clients.
  • Advise clients on compliance issues related to health care operations and transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in health care laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies.
  • Mentor and train junior associates on legal and industry matters.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects and client matters effectively.
  • Communicate directly with senior partners and clients, maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in good standing in the jurisdiction(s) where practicing.
  • 4-6 years of experience in health care regulatory and/or transactional law.
  • AmLaw 100 law firm experience preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials, writing, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and exceptional work ethic.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certification or specialization in Health Care Law is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Strong document drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to professional development and mentoring junior associates.
