The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patent prosecution, managing patent portfolios, conducting freedom-to-operate opinions, due diligence analysis, and landscape analysis. Job Duties:

  • Manage patent prosecution matters, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Conduct strategic management of patent portfolios for clients.
  • Prepare freedom-to-operate opinions and advise clients on patentability and infringement issues.
  • Conduct due diligence analysis for intellectual property transactions.
  • Perform landscape analysis and competitive intelligence gathering.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute IP strategies.
  • Provide counsel on trademark and copyright matters as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or a related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Admission to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution and intellectual property law.
  • Strong academic credentials and a record of professional achievement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enthusiasm for intellectual property law and a commitment to career advancement.
