Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected civil litigation and business law firm based in Denver is seeking a Litigation Attorney with experience handling complex tort, construction, product liability, employment, and commercial disputes. This full-time role is ideal for a licensed Colorado attorney who thrives in courtroom settings and has the skills to manage a diverse litigation docket. Additional licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is a plus. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a full benefits package.

Location:

• Denver, CO

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including trials, hearings, mediations, and depositions

• Conduct in-depth legal research to support case development and motion practice

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and other court filings

• Negotiate and structure settlements

• Provide strategic legal counsel across civil litigation and business law matters

• Stay current on legal developments and regulatory changes

• Collaborate with other attorneys on complex case strategy and litigation planning

Requirements:

• Proven litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense or related civil practice areas

• Demonstrated ability to handle court appearances and manage active caseloads

• Strong foundation in Colorado legal procedure and substantive law

• Effective case management and prioritization skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado (required)

• Licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska (preferred but not required)

• Strong legal research and writing capabilities

• Excellent courtroom presentation and oral advocacy

• Negotiation and dispute resolution expertise

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team
