A law firm specializing in environmental law seeks a motivated Environmental Litigation Attorney with 1-6 years of experience to join its team in Bala Cynwyd, PA. The ideal candidate will handle complex litigation related to environmental regulations and disputes.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in environmental litigation cases, including regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, and disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental laws, regulations, and precedents.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Provide clients with legal counsel and strategic advice on environmental compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and experts to develop case strategies and solutions.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution methods when applicable.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar; additional admission to other state bars is a plus.
  • 1-6 years of experience practicing environmental law, preferably in litigation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently.
