Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Defense Partner to join their growing team. This fully remote opportunity allows you to manage a diverse caseload, guide a team of attorneys, and lead business development efforts, all while maintaining the flexibility of working remotely within Florida. Ideal candidates will possess 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense litigation, a strong ability to manage client relationships, and a commitment to leading a high-performing team.

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation defense cases from start to finish, ensuring strategic, efficient, and favorable outcomes.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients, nurturing long-term relationships and building trust.
  • Mentor and develop junior attorneys, sharing knowledge and guiding career growth.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends, legal updates, and regulatory changes to ensure clients receive the most up-to-date advice.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and dispute resolutions with professionalism and confidence.
  • Actively participate in business development activities to expand the firm's presence in the workers’ compensation defense sector.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida with good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers' compensation defense litigation.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including mentoring and managing legal teams.
  • Capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team.
  • Excellent skills in litigation, negotiation, and client relationship management.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar membership is in good standing.
