Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents for State and Federal court cases.
• Assist with case strategy development, discovery processes, and motion practice.
• Prepare for and participate in trials, working closely with firm partners.
• Meet trial deadlines, make court appearances, and manage assigned cases.
• Record and meet a minimum of 1,800 billable hours per year.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Skilled in trial preparation, discovery, and motion practice.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in California.

Skills
