Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, with a focus on car accidents.
  • Conduct legal research, and prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Provide legal advice to clients and guide them through the legal process.
  • Manage caseload effectively, ensuring timely completion of all tasks and meetings of deadlines.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff to prepare case strategies.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients’ best interests.
  • Stay updated on legal developments and trends within personal injury law.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland or District of Columbia Bar (Virginia Bar license is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex cases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
