Job Overview:
A prestigious and fast-growing law firm is seeking a highly motivated Immigration Attorney to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in immigration law or those eager to specialize in this area. The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, capable of managing a heavy caseload and providing excellent client service in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Orlando, FL

Duties:

  • Meet with potential new clients to assess their cases
  • Develop case strategies and coordinate legal approaches
  • Manage a high volume of cases and deadlines, overseeing paralegals and other support staff
  • Supervise and train staff, ensuring proper case handling
  • Prepare and revise court documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date with legislative and case law changes
  • Market the law firm’s services to attract new clients
  • Handle court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
  • Become an expert in Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, and other immigration-related cases
  • Work one Saturday a month with the potential for bonuses based on new clients signed during those days
  • Cross-sell services from other practice areas within the firm

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active Bar License in good standing from any U.S. state or Puerto Rico
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in Spanish (required)
  • 1 year of experience in immigration law (preferred)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and client management skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar License
