A law firm in Austin is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Real Estate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have at least $200,000 in portable business and a strong background in representing developers, investors, buyers, and sellers in various real estate transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represent developers, investors, buyers, and sellers in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic guidance on real estate financing matters.
  • Advise clients on procuring real estate entitlements, navigating zoning regulations, land use issues, and environmental considerations.
  • Negotiate and draft real estate agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements.
  • Handle matters related to Homeowner's Associations, including governance, compliance, and dispute resolution.

Requirements:

  • At least $200,000 in portable business.
  • 5-12 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Extensive experience in handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing agreements, and financing matters.
  • Strong knowledge of zoning regulations, land use issues, and environmental considerations.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Proven ability to handle Homeowner's Association matters.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in Texas.
